Restaurants near Kim Sha Beach

Roma does it again!!!! I am a student at the Medical School on this island, and having eaten at my fair share of restaurants on the French and Dutch side, I can honestly say Roma is my favorite restaurant. Marco, Matteo, and the rest of the crew are fantastic authentic Italian chefs that do Italian food as simply and authentically as possible while still having a nod to some Americanized favorites for those who have a special request (looking at you, chicken parmigiana lovers). Our server Yolaine was friendly, warm, and very attentive as always. I have been here several time as she was excellent as always. My family is visiting this week and Roma was my number one must visit, and as always, my family was beyond impressed. My fathers family still lives majority in Molise, so we have done a significant amount of traveling in Italy and our favorite Italian restaurant back home is run by a Michelin Starred chef, and honestly Roma stacks up with the best of them. The Pizza is 1000% the best on island, much more authentic with a real wood oven (vs Mamma’s), the 4 Roman pastas all use fantastic imported guanciale as they should, the wine selection is fantastic and very reasonably priced…. I could go on forever but do yourself a favor and make a reservation here and enjoy and Italian dinner you won’t forget!😊

Some nicer places on the island have terrible service not at Palapa! Food outstanding too…Best bass filet!!

The staff and mainly our server were great, we were seated right away and not long after our server tended to us. The food was 5* and so were the cocktails. We were so full that we weren't able to have dessert. Definitely going back!

It was an amazing dinner..everything was delicious. View and restaurant are beautiful.. We went on Christmas day. It made our day very special.

Absolutely a wonderful experience from the greeting, to the service, atmosphere (decor) and food. Took a chance going here and was so pleasantly surprised. Drinks were reasonably priced and delicious. Jai was our server and she was wonderful. I had Caesar salad which was a little pricey but then it came and it was huge. My eggplant Parmesan appetizer was big enough for dinner. Highly recommend.
