When I opened my doors in July of 2009, I committed to serving the freshest Italian dishes made from local and seasonal ingredients. I learned early the heart of Italian cooking is the flavor…or sapore. My school of teaching was from the best; my Nonna Elena and Mother Lia. Their philosophy has been carried on in my style of cooking: use simple ingredients and the food will speak for its self. Classic Italian dishes grace the menu but are personalized with my unique touch. Quality and consistency is what you will find with each dish. I would never serve anything short of that.     One of my three favorite restaurants in STL and the perfect place for a fantastic birthday dinner with my wife. A couple of things to note: when I asked for a recommendation on a white wine to go with my dinner, our waiter brought out two different samples for me to try instead of just the one I asked to taste. I went with the second option that I hadn’t even expected to try. The other was the noise/music level when we first arrived was noticeably higher than it normally is. Within 15 minutes of arrival, however, it had been turned down. Food was terrific. North Atlantic Salmon was perfectly prepared. And the Pumpkin Dessert was delicious.

    We have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years. They are consistent in every way. The service was exceptional. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the flavor is second to none.

    Unmatched table service. We eat out at very nice restaurants fairly frequently, but this was exceptional. Brian and Alex teamed up at our table and gave impeccable recommendations, preparations, and boxed up our food with style. The presentation of my husband‘s steak, hot on a serving cart, with juices ready to pour on it was stunning. We were truly impressed.
