As soon as you step into the Barn, you immediately feel welcomed. A combination of our culinary staff cooking right in front of you and the intimate ambiance creates a perfect evening. ** Reservations are highly recommended and credit cards may be taken to hold your time. A $100 charge will be incurred if a reservation is not canceled within 8 hours of your scheduled arrival time. This setting is designed for a quiet dining experience for adults and children above the age of 12 only. Respectful dress required. **Please be aware of booking counter top seating.     As always, the Coast Guard House lived up to its excellent reputation for outstanding food, service, and friendliness. The menu options and wine choices are also excellent. Very highly recommended. It also happens to be a very historic building that was repurposed very appropriately into the excellent restaurant that it is and continues to be.

    Wonderful dinner at Winfield's. Highly recommend the cod, and the salmon entrees, as well as the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake, and the berry cobbler with homemade sage ice cream. Julie, our server, was perfect. Great conversational dialog. Only 'negative', and was minor, the Tuna Tartare appetizer was somewhat bland, and the wonton triangle 'chips' were slightly overcooked. Could have used a bit more spice, and 1 or 2 more chips. Still, Winfield's is one of our favorites on Block Island.

    Amazing cocktails-love the watermelon man. Very romantic and cozy. Very classy. Excellent service and chicken dish. Shrimp piccata was delicious but could have been slightly larger. Excellent focaccia nice and squishy. High class place. Heard the coffee is excellent. Getting coffee next!
