Excellent food and service! We were seated immediately and were offered drinks quickly before ordering our food. Our server let us know the raw bar was busy and our seafood tower may arrive a bit later than normal, which was a great heads up. However it arrived quickly and was delicious! They were very busy but never felt that way. Great service and amazing food!

We had 8ppl at 530pm, and it was a lovely experience. The food was delicious. Our service was top-notch. The band didn't start playing until 7 p.m., so we had a nice quiet dinner and conversation. Once the music started up, it became a little hard to have a conversation, but the visual aspect of the people dancing and the music was very entertaining and enjoyable.

It was such a delightful meal. The lemonade, oh my gosh!!!!!! The Bee Stang and Sausage and Pepperoni pizzas, so amazing!! And the cookie skillet, don’t even get me started. All outstanding. Also, big shoutout to Addie for giving us an unforgettable experience! Bear and the Wren, you did it again.

I had lunch here. The cousin is based on Peruvian cuisine but a lot of fusion is going on. The pisco cocktails were fantastic. The menu has myriads of different types of appetizers that you could just order a few of them and mimic a tapas bar and get fed full with different cold and hot options. The main dishes were versatile. I tried the bass escabeche, which was fantastic and ordered the lamb shank and had it for the night, which was also good. They make their deserts in the house, and they are pretty sophisticated with South American / tropical fruit flavors. My only grievance is that they did not offer espresso coffee! Overall, very well rounded restaurant with good menu that is a gem in SLO. I would definitely go back there in my every pass through the city on my way to LA.
