- MMaryannLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had an incredible night learning about Spanish and Portuguese wines from an excellent sommelier Will. We learnt about the process of making sparkling wines, the oak vats and cinnamon in wines and most importantly what it tastes like. Thank you.More infoBlackfriars RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.7

- LLindsayNewcastle and Northumberland •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA wonderful dining experience for our daughter and her family, who had not visited 21 before. We ate a la carte, although our 12 year old grand-daughter went in part for the set lunch option. The staff could not have been more accommodating or flexible in meeting our menu choices. The food , as ever, was delightful and 21 now has three fresh converts to the cheese and spinach souffle. The service was at its usual attentive but unobtrusive best. Our daughter is still talking about how lovely everything was this morning. Thanks again 21. Lindsay Williams.More info21Price: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
- GGillianEdinburgh/Midlothian •6 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 14, 2025The Stag has been recently taken over and had a fantastic sympathetic refurbishment. The menu is quite small so as someone that doesn’t eat meat my choices were more limited , however I did have the fish and chips which was delicious, lovely fresh fish and a crispy batter with homemade chips and minty peas . The tartare sauce was freshly made . My husband had a steak which he said was perfect. The fact that the menu isn’t large means that everything is fresh . Having it re open is such a bonus for this area and we look forward to our next visit .More infoThe Stag Inn Low CrosbyPrice: Moderate• Pub• Carlisle•4.8
