    The food at this restaurant is always predictable - hot, decent quality, something to please everyone. What I didn't plan on is a server who was condescending to those who are older. I have not experienced this before at this establishment and it left me a bit perturbed. Ageism is a fact and apparently some servers haven't been taught ageism comments are better left unsaid.

    Hayward is definitely a destination worth traveling to. The dishes are well executed, the cod was cooked to perfection. Duck croquettes were wonderful. The restaurant is located in a renovated warehouse structure giving it a rustic feel. Service is fast and friendly. Great foodie option in wine country!

    We celebrated our anniversary there, and they made it so special. The crab bake was amazing, better than a crab boil and if you want a treat the haystack dessert is so delicious and decadent!

    The Bistro is always a special place to have a wonderful meal. Last night's dinner did not disappoint. The Filet was excellent, as was the appetizer. Our server/chef was a gracious host. We will continue to time our trips to Manzanita to coincide with Neah Kah Nie Bistro's open days!

    Headlands Coastal Lodge is our favorite place to be on the Oregon Coast. One of the key reasons we like it so much is the Meridian Restaurant. The food is great, and the service is always first rate, friendly, and welcoming. We always look forward to coming back again.
