- DDenaHawaii •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI'm a resident and this is my absolute favorite restaurant. THE STEAKS. No matter what cut, it never disappoints. The staff is always inviting and full of Aloha. Plus, the environment is old school classy with distinct island culture. We always have a cup of their delicious coffee with the banana cream pie, every visit. A perfect place to bring our visitors from mainland. It's an island treasure.More infoThe Plantation House by GaylordsPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Lihue•4.6
- MMarianVIPHawaii •75 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoTruly a 5 * meal! We enjoyed 3 pupus including 7-spice ahi sashimi that was SO fresh and delectable, light and tasty avocado kale salad, and blackened scallops in a magnificent sauce. My husband and I shared the honey roasted chicken which was tender and accompanied by delicious mashed potatoes and bok choy from the restaurant’s garden. Our son loved the dynamite Kona compache fish and his friend raved about the prawn fettuccini. We topped it off with the warm chocolate cake which is my fav lava-type cake on the island. Service was stellar, as usual. Our server, Naoshi, was attentive, professional, friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and patient. And he had only worked there 2 months! His assistant was also magnificent, with an eye on our plates to remove them not a minute too soon so we never felt rushed, yet the table always looked beautiful. Live Hawaiian music was an unexpected bonus, as was a short hula performance we all appreciated greatly. The singer/guitar player was very talented and while his beautiful voice projected, we were still able to have dinner conversation.More infoHualani'sPrice: Very Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Lihue•4.8

- JJewelsGreater Boston •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoDukes of Kauai was absolutely wonderful. Unlike the lovely Dukes of Oahu and Maui this Dukes is situated on a lovely bay looking out at the lighthouse. Very light and airy. The food was delicious as were their drinks. There were three of us dinning and we all enjoyed a different fresh fish meal and the famous Hula Pie. Mark was our waiter, and he was just an added bonus. We will love going back there again.More infoDuke's KauaiPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Lihue•4.5
