Located in the heart of the old railroad and mining town of Minturn, the Saloon’s building dates back to 1901. During the last one hundred years it has been, at one time or another, home to various taverns, restaurants and even back room gambling for railroaders. While the last five decades have seen the development of Vail and Beaver Creek resorts just seven miles on either side of Minturn, the town’s appearance and feel retains its historic Colorado roots. Recently under new ownership, The Saloon has undergone a complete renovation and reopened in November of '23 with a fresh new menu and updated space. Chef Anthony Mazza's menu features slow-cooked short rib and pork cheek and Colorado River Ranch wagyu steak. The nostalgia and historical memorabilia and photos remain. This was an amazing place to have dinner while visiting Vail. The atmosphere was incredible - so many amazing presentations of food and drinks. They are SO family friendly..we came with two toddlers and still had an enjoyable time - the staff was so accommodating. Highly recommend for any families visiting Vail! We’ll be back.

Amazing food and service. Our server Eddie was awesome and explained the menu so well. The dessert was insanely good. The entire meal left us completely satisfied and not over full. The Wasabi was very unique and delicious. Our new favorite spot!!

Can't say enough about how great of a time we had at The Saloon! The food was fantastic, the margaritas are every bit as good as I heard they were and the service was excellent. Plus, it has such a cool vibe. The hostess, Mary, truly made our night with all of her tips for visiting the area. We will definitely be back!
