Restaurants near Looe Key

We made reservations for dinner before the symphony. We arrived at Yellow Fin Bar & Kitchen about 25 minutes early. There was some hesitation in seating us early even though there were only two tables seated in the section we were placed. We were served water when seated but sat for 30 minutes before we flagged down a waitperson. She agreed to take care of our table - but found out later, we were seated in her section. Our waitperson was very attentive once she took our table. The food was served in good time once ordered and was delicious (I had the grouper, and my husband had the short ribs). The atmosphere of the interior restaurant is clean and crisp - very nice. The outdoor dining area (where we were seated) is nicely landscaped and right near the marina and a pool area of the resort - so a lot of very neat things to see and watch. The fire pit areas are very nice. They have had a live musician playing each evening we have been there. We did talk with the evening manager on our way out regarding the timing issue at the beginning of the evening but feel this is something that the crew should have been on top of from the beginning. We will return but will be certain to arrive according to how our reservations are booked and not allow a lag time in between being seated and being addressed.

Since it was Valentine's Day, the restaurant and bar were packed. Our server, Bob, did a great job with all 6 orders. The calamari was prepared differently than usual, but all who ate it were happy. Crab cakes were a bit fishy tasting, but lemon juice did cut that taste. Early bird prime rib orders were perfect, nicely seasoned and cooked to order. Maria, the owner, came to every table greeting, thanking and checking on our meals and service. Florida Keys Steak & Lobster is always a great stop! Thank you.

Great service and food is fabulous. Loved it so much we went twice while on vacation. Damian and tall Christopher were our waiters and did an excellent job.

Best restaurant in Marathon! Fresh fish, incredible sushi, great cheese burger and delicious drinks! To top it off, don’t miss the Coconut Key Lime Pie. Very knowledgeable and friendly wait staff.

The entire experience at Latitudes was exceptional from the boat ride over, to watching a brilliant sunset and enjoying wonderful food and service. The lobster bisque, tuna poke, salads, snapper and shrimp carbonara were all top notch. Great quality and generous portions. Excellent selection of wines to complement the meal. Michael was a knowledgeable and excellent waiter that provided great suggestions and definitely added an extra touch to the evening. Can not beat a sunset dinner on the beach at Latitudes when in Key West.
