- DDonNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience at Lucky Cheetah. We have been trying to go for several months but every time we try to make a reservation there are no seats available. Thankfully with a little advanced planning we secured one. Now we can see why one would need to plan ahead! The restaurant was bustling even at 5:30! From the moment you walk in there is so much to take in. The decor was fantastic and full of personality. Our seats were comfortable and we loved our little corner booth. The server was attentive and knowledgeable explaining how our drinks were made (especially when we were unfamiliar with the ingredients). The food was outstanding. We were a group of vegetarian and meat eaters and we had plenty of choices right off the menu. Surprisingly there are so many restaurants that don’t have enough vegetarian choices! Although we were familiar with the food style and ingredients it was nice to see that this same server was helpful to others next to us when he knew the customers didn’t know what they were ordering and he preemptively told them in a non-assuming and non-judgmental way. The bathrooms were clean, roomy, and well decorated with some great soap/lotion amenities. My only criticism is the music playlist was not fitting. It was all rap and not peppered in with some other choices to make the evening ebb and flow. Overall, this is a restaurant we would highly recommend.More infoLucky CheetahPrice: Expensive• Chinese• Portland•4.7
- CCeliaGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a wonderful dinner there last night. Elena was very helpful with wine recommendations and the food was superb. We especially enjoyed the Tuna Tartare, the Angel Hair Pasta with Parmesan-Reggiano and the Lobster Carbonara. My only comment would be to serve the Angel Hair Pasta on a heated plate. Other than that we loved our dinner and will be back! Many thanks to your staff.More infoSolo ItalianoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Portland•4.8
