Giardina's, one of the Mississippi Delta's most historic restaurants, was founded in 1936 by Joseph Giardina, in Greenwood, Mississippi. A unique blend of sophistication and warmth, Giardina's is the perfect setting for any event. Seating consists of fourteen private booths and the large dining room opens onto a beautiful courtyard. The restaurant's interior space and state-of-the-art kitchen were designed by world-renowned architects. Considerable effort was made to retain the character and charm of the original Giardina's, but the white tablecloths and fine crystal add the feeling of elegance one would expect from a fine dining restaurant in a large metropolitan area. Giardina's bar, reminiscent of a bygone era, features the same dark wood and tile of the restaurant while offering today's premium liquors, wines and liqueurs. Featuring steaks, seafood and Italian cuisine, Giardina's atmosphere is old world elegant but dress is laid-back "Delta casual.”

Molly’s Place offers artisanal fresh made cocktails, MS and a few other craft beers, a selection of wonderful wines from the Biltmore Estate Wine Company. Our food, however, brings the entire experience together. Named for owner Deborah Bailey’s mother Molly, who flew with the Women’s Air Force Service Pilots in WWII, our tiny space evokes a bygone time, with cocktail classics and aviation mementos that also remind us of Grenada’s great and underused airport, where thousands of pilots trained during that same war.     My partner and I went to Wonderbird for our anniversary and we had an amazing experience. The ambiance was a perfect blend of social and intimate. Service was outstanding. We basically had our own private tasting and let me tell you, mind blowing! The taste of the Magnolia Gin was all it promises, flowery, light, but somehow also mildly nutty. The martinis were to die for. It was lovely to socialize and learn the story of the place and their mission. I am sold! We took a bottle home and everywhere we go for cocktails, I am looking for this Wonderbird.

    The food was excellent and service was great. The restaurant was super busy and had to wait awhile for us to get the check. But highly recommend giving Molly’s a try
