Restaurants near Manchester Cathedral

My first time visiting here - booked online (quick & easy) and although we arrived 15mins before our specified time we were given a table almost right away. The menu had plenty of choice, all the staff were fantastic and the prices on par with a lot of other eateries. There are lots of great memorabilia around the place which is very interesting to look at. I will certainly visit again (and next time have one of the cocktails and get a souvenir glass too (you can buy them separately but you get one free of charge if you have the drink).

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff were great energetic and friendly. Enjoyed the cocktails and lager whilst waited to be seated for our meal. The food was fantastic we upgraded to the chateaubriand which was a great choice but could of had more sides offered than the 2 as wasn't enough to share really but overall a great evening The champagne was a nice gesture from staff to celebrate our night. Thanks again and would definitely recommend..

The food here was delicious and so tasty, we got the fish cakes which were amazing and I had the cod and my partner had the chicken which were both great and the dessert of lemon meringue and biscuit cheesecake was the perfect finish to the meal. The staff were lovely, very clean facilities and the ambiance was stunning with live music throughout the whole venue. We will definitely be back!

There’s never a time that I come to Riva Blu and I’m not satisfied, leaving there with a full belly and a big smile - my favorite restaurant + being Italian out of Italy Riva Blue is a taste of home ❤️

Ate at 5:30 pm on a Monday evening as a pre theatre dinner. The play started at 7:30 and we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal. Lovely restaurant, the food was wonderful (especially the deserts!) & the service was excellent. Attentive without being overly so! Excellent value as we had 40% discount on the food. A bonus as we did not feel it was in anyway overpriced to begin with. We have eaten here before and have never been disappointed. Thank you
