Newly relaunched on 10/29/24 as "Heritage East," on the beautiful square in Downtown Tyler.Modern East Texas cuisine by award winning (Cochon 555 "Prince of Pork," Texas Bucket List "Bite of the Season" for our Heritage Pork Chop) and Food Network Chopped featured Chef Lance McWhorter. Locally raised steaks, chops, chicken, wild game, seafood, handmade pastas, all served from an open kitchen that is right in the dining room.     Our anniversary celebration which we look forward every year. The food was outstanding as was the staff. Had the loaded potato casserole instead of the Yukon puree this time-good decision. Dessert was awesome but need to try the banana brûlée next time. Thank y’all for another memorable evening!

    Rick's on the Square never fails to impress. This was our 3rd visit and our meal was delicious! We highly recommend any of the steaks as they are cooked to order and we have never been disappointed! For starters, we highly suggest the shrimp cocktail and calamari. The menu is impressive and we guarantee, there are so many unique choices. Your tastebuds will highly surprised. We recommend Rick's on the square for lunch, dinner and special occasions! The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate requests. The music is enjoyable and the entire ambiance is truly comfortable. Rick's on the Square is a true jewel for Tyler! We will definitely be back!

    Food was wonderful! I had the chopped steak with onions and mushrooms along with green beans and potato soup. My friend had redfish with sweet potato fries and a salad. It allwas yummy as we shared.
