Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. We hadn't been to the Chart House in Portland for 12 years or more. What a lovely surprise to find it even better than we remembered. The food and service were excellent and the restaurant was in beautiful shape. the sweeping views have always been a draw and last night they were spectacular. What a wonderful experience to find the restaurant even better than we remembered. We live here in Portland and will be back soon!

Nostrana is an (almost) hidden Portland treasure! The space and ambiance is warm yet epic, the entire staff seems to be operating on another level from other fine dining restaurants in Portland; they're engaged, friendly, warm, and yet professional and perfectionistic in the best possible ways. The food, all of it, was super-fresh and really special. Might have something to do with them having their own chef's garden right across the street. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

We sat in the cozy bar and enjoyed great service and a wonderful meal of pasta Putanesca, salad and garlic bread with a nice bold Italian red wine. Perfect place to spend an evening with friends.
