- GGalVIPLos Angeles •21 reviews5.0Dined todayGreat food and a beautiful ambiance. Our service was not good. It looked like our waitress was too tired and ready to leave. Overall good selection of sushi, sake and Japanese whiskeyMore infoMakoto PanamáPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Panama City•4.7
- SSwatiVIPWashington, D.C. Area •28 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis place is beautiful, and I loved sitting in the outdoor patio! My server was Eric and he was wonderfully patient with me as I chatted with him so much about the food and drinks. The ceviche del dia was outstanding! The house made bread was divine with the completely unique savory hibiscus butter! The stracciatella ice cream was made with chocolate made with Panamanian cacao! And it was the best stracciatella ice cream ever! The mixed herbal tea was fantastic too! It was a mix of mint, lemongrass, rose, petals, and hibiscus. Service was outstanding overall, and the ingredients are truly farm to table. I highly recommend this place and thank my friend, the Panamanian chef from New Orleans, for recommending it to me. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate every request and the result was a memorable evening; the food could easily be Michelin quality… an absolute must in Panama City!More infoPopinoPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Latin• Panama City•4.8

Favorite plates were the Mai Mai Tiradito and the Peruvian ceviche. Would be nice if they weren’t as intense about you picking a drink when you first arrive and sit down. Not all guests drink! Also would be nice to have our sparkling water at the table, as the waiter wasn’t always around when we wanted a refil. Besides the drinks approach, fantastic. We will return for sure.More infoMai MaiPrice: Expensive• Panamanian• Panama City•4.8
