- HHarrisVIPLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWalked around the cozy, picturesque town of Healdsburg prior to our reservation. When we walked in the front door, they greeted up by name, took our coats and offered a delicious warm tea from the kitchen window. We next walked into the dining room and felt like we’d stepped into a beautiful restaurant in Japan. The table was already decorated and prepared with the first bites, arranged on miniature rock garden. Each dish, each course was fantastic. From the immaculate presentation, to the ingredients, the taste. It was amazing. Would recommend to anyone. And only when we were leaving, did I find out that it’s also a hotel, where you can stay in Healdsburg, not only for their dinner rezzies but also for breakfast delivered to your room. I’d totally forgotten about that part. It was all amazing.More infoSingleThread Restaurant & InnPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Healdsburg•5
- RRachelSan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 10, 2024This was perfect for a business lunch! We could spread out our reports we needed to view, and had a great meal at the same time. It was not too noisy to talk, and we loved having all of the variety of the small plates. Best ever!More infoWilli's Seafood & Raw BarPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Healdsburg•4.7
- BBobSan Francisco Bay Area •72 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 7, 2024Great dining experience overall. Several of the courses were outstanding, including the black cod with buttery flesh and perfectly crispy skin. Most dishes had an excellent balance of salt, acid and spice with the occasional misstep such as the item billed as porcini and truffles but was no more than a bean and corn mess. The gnocchi supplement with white truffle needed salt and should have been 4x larger for the price. Shockingly small. Indeed most portions were too small and while I fully understand the desire to make it a tasting experience and serve up lots and lots of tasty small portions, these portions bordered on the obscenely small. But everything was beautifully presented and the service was very good - though not excellent (for example, for these prices, when my glass of water or wine is empty, it’s reasonable to expect that someone will be on it, and here they were at best slow to react). Worth it to try once, but in no hurry to return as no course (other than maybe the black cod) was too memorable.More infoAuroPrice: Very Expensive• American• Calistoga•5
- BBillSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 6, 2024The food was excellent. I had the catch of the day and it was cooked to perfection. The seasonings in each of the dishes was unique and delicious. The dining room was intimate and comfortable with a fire in the fireplace on a winter’s night making it warm and welcoming.More infoThe Lodge at Dawn RanchPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Guerneville•4.7
