The service was excellent, the food was served in a timely manner and was great.

The restaurant itself definitely set the mood for the evening. The lights were dim and the decor was simple yet cozy. When we walked in, we were instantly seated at our table. We were celebrating my sisters birthday and the hostess placed a birthday card on the table that was signed by all the staff. The hostess was very sweet and patient. She took a picture of us to capture the evening. Shortly there after our waiter came out and went through the menu. He was very thorough! The chefs made complimentary sashimi that was brought to the table for us to share and it was full of flavor that filled your mouth with flavor! The sushi that came out as our main dish was just as flavorful! We weren’t rushed and were able to enjoy the evening. The dessert that we ordered was just as good as sushi we ate and left of feeling satisfied. O-Ku in Alys Beach is conveniently located off 30A and the experience had is worth coming back again!

Love the ambiance and the food at this restaurant. The chef even cooked my husband's steak slowly so there was no charring on the outside. Valerie does a great job waiting on everyone at the restaurant. I am glad they added soups and a ribeye to the menu. Also loved the Kir Royal. Only suggestion would be to add more fish dishes.
