- AAndyLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 19, 2025We were greeted warmly and ushered to our table in a most friendly fashion. The interior is delightful, warm and atmospherically lit. The music was well chosen, subtle and at the perfectly level to enable easy conversation. The starters, mackerel pâté for me, pork belly for my son came in a timely fashion and were delicious. Our mains of Sole with roast new potatoes, and beer battered fish with chips with tartar sauce were scrumptious . House Porthminster Sauvignon Blanc a perfect accompaniment. Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and a friendly chat with the staff rounded off a perfect evening.More infoPorthminster KitchenPrice: Expensive• International• St Ives•4.8

My husband and I love fishing, we love catching and cooking our own fish. We always comment we feel that fish is over-fussed with and complicated when we eat it in restaurants. THANK YOU ARGOE for changing this!!! Finally a restaurant offering fresh, locally caught fish, cooked to perfection and letting the fish be the total star of the table, with some fabulous generous fish portions enjoyed with beautiful potatoes and gorgeous salad- the DREAM combo! The appetisers and small plates also absolutely gorgeous, with wonderful flavours. The fish soup was absolutely mind-blowing. We also loved the ray wing. The fish grilled on the open fire gave the most gorgeous smokey flavours. Finish off with the most beautiful desserts. Fabulous service and a fantastic setting. We whole-heartedly recommend Argoe, we will definitely be back, and thank you for restoring our faith in Cornish seafood restaurants!!!!More infoArgoePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Penzance•4.9

- WWilliamCornwall •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas High Tea! From the first moment the staff were so friendly and welcoming, we were seated at a lovely table. They catered for our dietary requirements with ease, everything was delicious, we were in heaven. There was plenty to choose from and it was all fantastic quality. Your pastry chef is obviously very talented. The presentation of the hight tea was lovely and it really didn't disappoint, we couldn't find fault. The only thing I would say is that we should be able to add a tip if paying by card as your staff deserve one for their amazing service.More infoHarbour Loft - St Michaels MountPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Marazion•4.9
