The Dining Room at Sun Mountain Lodge provides brunch and dinner in an upscale-casual atmosphere for both hotel guests and outside diners alike, while the Bar & Grill provides a relaxed first-come-first-served atmosphere for afternoon bites and dinner. Our menus are inspired by the Methow Valley, consisting of locally sourced meats and produce with select seasonal rotations. Our inspiration for the name of our new signature restaurant comes from a chaptik story passed down through the generations of our First Nations people of the Okanagan.The Syilx People of the Okanagan Nation approach to food is based on the creation stories of their culture and we’ve taken their stories as the inspiration for the name of our restaurant: “The Bear, The Fish, The Root & The Berry,” based on the story of the Four Food Chiefs.The Four Food Chiefs are central: Skimxist Black Bear (chief of animals, representing self-sacrifice, leadership, giving), Ntytikxw Chinook Salmon (water creatures, perseverance, hard work), Speetlum Bitterroot (plants below the round, relationships to the land) and Seeya Saskatoon Berry (plants above ground, growth, strength, community) are legendary and the elements of indigenous cuisine.

    My husband and I went to Casia Lodge for a Valentine's Day dinner. Their 4 course meal was impressive, with interesting flavors that I never tried before and we enjoyed each dish. My favorites were the soup, steak, and chocolate dessert. I also loved the decaf french press coffee I had with my dessert. Our server was polite, professional and let us enjoy our date dinner. Overall, we received an excellent dinning experience at Casia Lodge. I highly recommend it!

    The best restaurant in Chelan. My wife and I visit every time we are here and bring new friends every chance we get. Don't miss out on the balsamic sauce that comes out with the bread, the ahi appetizer, the spinach canneloni, the butterscotch budino and of course their amazing wine! Even on a busy valentines day dinner, the waitstaff was amazingly kind and helpful and even had a rose for my wife upon our arrival.
