Atria's History The original Atria's in Mt. Lebanon was owned by Italian immigrant Joe Atria and dates to 1930. It began as a grocery store, then expanded into a barbershop and dry cleaners. In 1933 prohibition ended and Atria's began to sell beer. Along came food to feed the hungry - both highbrow attorneys and blue-collar working men alike. In 1998, Pittsburgh natives Pat and Nancy McDonnell transformed Joe Atria's historical Mt.     Greeted warmly loved that we were seated in the main dining hall. I loved that I was able to people watch! Many guests came for a buffet and were disappointed! But the atmosphere and Indias smile were so engaging that she made up for the lack of buffet

    James was an exceptional server/bartender/Sommelier/hostess! He gave perfect recommendations to pair with our starters and meals. The Norwegian Halibut was amazing! The evening was extremely special celebrating our dad’s birthday. It was sweet and memorable to have two daddy daughter dates as well. Molly also was so sweet! We will definitely come back!
