Lido’s menu is Northern Italian. The menu can be described as fresh, simple, and delicious. Flavors are layered so that each one stands out but does not compete with others in the dish. The food is organic and local whenever possible and all poultry and meats are from farms that treat animals humanely. The ambiance is modish but relaxed. Enoteca Harlem was born from a journey to the Basque Country, where I discovered the deep-rooted tradition and importance of family meals, and the vibrant culture of sharing tapas over a good glass of wine in the heart of San SebastiánThe calmness of the coastal life, the scent of the sea breeze sweeping over the vineyards, and the joy of savoring fresh, local ingredients are all part of what makes the Basque culinary tradition so special. At Enoteca, we aim to bring that experience to life—a little slice of the Basque Country where you can be transported to another place and celebrate the art of sharing tapas.

Servers at the restaurant were great. So were the hostesses inside. Food and tea were delicious as always. The gal checking reservations at the entrance to the hotel to admit guests inside could use a refresher in customer service. How about welcome guests warmly with a smile? Say hello or good morning? Make eye contact? Literally anything other than the cold front she put on. Maybe she hates her job? For paying $500+ for tea time lunch you shouldn’t act like we’re inconveniencing you. She also didn’t offer the lift for my stroller and just watched us struggle carrying it up the stairs and no one grabbed the door to help. They stand on the stairs looking down on people trying to come inside like they’re better than everyone else. That part is odd.

I enjoyed my visit to the Red Rooster yesterday. The temperature, taste and quantity of food was very good. Most of the dishes we experienced was excellent. We tasted several of the menu selections. Loved the deviled eggs, fried chicken and jerk salmon . Service was very professional but friendly. The price for the quality of the food we ate was more than welcomed. I loved my experience at Red Rooster and would choose this restaurant again if I’m in this area again.

If I could give my experience today, 10 stars, I would! Nicole was an amazing server. She was attentive, professional, and very kind. She made my delicious meal a wonderful experience. Additionally, management was personable and professional , and making sure everything ran very smoothly. This was one of my favorite dining experiences at Tavern on the Green. Thank you again Nicole for providing such an impeccable service!
