This charming restaurant perfectly blends modern elegance with warm, rustic elements. As soon as you step inside, you’re welcomed by soft candlelight and the gentle crackling of a wood fireplace, creating an incredibly inviting and cozy ambiance. The 3-course menu, complete with delightful amuse-bouches, showcases the best seasonal ingredients with impressive creativity. The chef clearly has a passion for local produce, and it truly shines in every dish, offering wonderful options to satisfy every palate. What truly elevates the experience is the exceptional service. Eric, the General Manager, and his attentive team strike the perfect balance between being friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring you feel at home without it being intrusive. Our server Owen was genuinely enthusiastic, eager to share recommendations and details about each dish. This level of care truly made our visit special. In summary, The Old Inn On the Green is an essential destination for anyone who appreciates beautifully crafted cuisine in an enjoyable setting. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or simply treating yourself to a nice night out, this restaurant excels across the board—in flavor, atmosphere, and service. It’s one of those rare gems that you’ll want to return to time and again, always excited to explore the new seasonal delights they have to offer!More infoThe Old Inn On The GreenPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• New Marlborough•4.8
- DDeborahNew York City •7 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoThe Culinary experience in cooking and presentation is unparalleled, and it's also a beautiful location. Considering that it is a teaching restaurant, with students at the culinary performing both back-of-the-house and front-of-the-house duties during a semester of learning, the experience may not be consistent. In our case, the front-of-the-house server was very inexperienced and failed to follow up with us as we were dining, refill drinks, provide the correct utensils for the courses we ordered, and generally keep the flow of service. This is not so much a negative as a teachable moment, and we were not upset. Be prepared, however, that this could happen.More infoAmerican Bounty at The Culinary Institute of AmericaPrice: Expensive• American• Hyde Park•4.7
