Not a lot to say except "OUTSTANDING!" The restaurant is beautiful, and the view from far above the LA skyline (at night) was thrilling. We were placed just opposite the kitchen and plating area; the staff take great pains to make these processes as quest as possible--with nary a spoken word--and our table was quieter than those in the rest of the restaurant. Don't think that being seated there is a disadvantage. The variety of dishes available on the prix fixe menu is wonderful. Appetizers were more than generous (as were the ours of the accompanying wine flights) and stood out for their exceptional quality. The main courses were nothing short of stunning--ribeye as tender as any I have known anywhere; amazingly succulent pork loin; and tender, juicy, flaky salmon. Our desserts were delicious (and visually pleasing). The servers were prompt, courteous, friendly, and entirely professional. If I had to post a criticism--and I hesitate to do so--it would be that there was just the slightest hint of a rush between the arrival of our (marvelous) cocktails and the first course, including wines. But don't let this put you off in any way. I will note that it is pricey--but that's no surprise for a truly elegant meal far above the City of the Angels. We will return.

Wonderful dinner but disappointed that we were not advised in advance that there was no patio seating or small room dining available that night because of a private party. We were bringing friends for their first visit and wanted that experience.

Excellent service, excellent consideration of our dietary needs, and excellent food! Our waiter was exceptional and describes each dish we asked about in detail and gave perfect recommendations. The lamb dish was the best meat we have ever eaten - order it and enjoy! Persimmon stracciatella salad was also a favorite, could have ordered 2 because it was so good!

As usual, N+S's didn't disappoint. It's a warm comfortable space staffed by equally warm pleasant folks. The happy hour menu seems to have expanded a bit since last time I was there and the addition of the peruvian scallop crudu is incredible. Great place and great oasis in the middle of DTLA

The ambience of this rooftop oasis was RUINED by a young couple next to us who were baiting each other into fights and blasting videos on their phones at each other. Given we were one of 3 tables on the whole terrace, I would have appreciated better space between diners. Food was special and service was otherwise terrific.
