Restaurants near Nassau County Museum of Art

Tables for 2 are small, and very close together. The vibe is steakhouse, very nice, but quite loud.

Arrived early so ordered drinks + app at the bar. The eggplant chips are a great call. Filet mignon skewers, shrimp, grilled octopus were all a hit, as well as one of the best crab cakes I’ve had. First time here recently so did 7 apps for variety instead of entrees and that worked out perfectly. Table for 2 feels crammed, but the service is attentive and professional, and the timing of the food delivery was well-placed

We had another delicious meal at Bar Frites the other evening. Our reservation was honored and we were seated at a very nice table for two. Our server greeted us very quickly. We then ordered our meals. I had the tasty chicken noodle soup. We shared the large Chinese Chicken Salad. We feel it’s more than enough for two people. It’s big, but if you’re hungry, you could probably eat by yourself. We really like the atmosphere are Bar Frites, it’s a terrific restaurant in definitely many ways. ⭐️⭐️👌⭐️🤩

Awesome as always that is why we keep coming back. Drinks, apps and dinner were awesome, and to top It off, desert was just as good!

Great place to enjoy a cozy and delicious lunch. The beet salad was fresh & yummy. I enjoyed the filet mignon, truffle fries & spinach. Attentive service. Coffee was also excellent.
