Restaurants near National Waterways Museum

We had a email from the Oakfield saying there was an offer for 2 for 1 for meals until 6th January. Today at The Oakfield the waitress said the offer does not include Sundays, there was nothing on the email stating that you can’t use it on Sundays. We think that you should be clear and open about your rules so people are not caught out and embarrassed when expecting a deal and being disappointed.

Had a fantastic experience at the 610 squadron excellent food brilliant service and the staff were very polite definitely will recommend and return.

Ok atmosphere with pleasant staff. Good prompt attention and food and drinks came within a reasonable time. Foot was nice and hot. I had the fish which was huge. My wife had the lamb and asked for it pink and it came pink. One niggle was when wanting to pay the bill and add a tip on my card Couldn’t add it to bill had to use a separate 'tip machine' which adds 38p to the tip. So you get charged to tip. Only 38p but niggled me.
