- KKathYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAmazing! Lovely modern restaurant that was also cozy. Had 3 courses and loved every dish. If we lived locally we would be there regularly. Service was good too. Plenty of attentive smiling staff which makes a change these days. Definitely recommend! Thankyou for lovely night out.More infoLucia - YorkPrice: Expensive• Italian• Harrogate•4.5

- HHelenYorkshire •6 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoMains are slightly overpriced, pudding was a little disappointing, seating was too close together - I felt like the couple next to us were sitting at our table! Wine was lovely and service excellent.More infoThe Black BullPrice: Moderate• British• Kendal•4.4
- MMichaelCumbria •6 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 12, 2025I had the wild boar sausage hot sandwich, which was served with coleslaw and triple cooked chips. Generous number of sausages, which were cooked to perfection. The bread was fresh and tasty, the same with the coleslaw. The triple cooked chips were very hot on arrival, so I suggest you leave them for a while; the texture and taste were perfect. For dessert I tried the rice pudding with crumble topping, spiced apple and vanilla ice cream. Again, I couldn’t fault the texture and taste. My favourite part was the cinnamon in the apple puree. The young lady who served us was enthusiastic, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The building was warm without being hot, comfortable atmosphere and relaxing. No jarring music.More infoThe Rose & Crown at RomaldkirkPrice: Moderate• British• Barnard Castle•4.4

The Sunday lunch menu doesn't give any choice but this was early February so I wouldn't expect this. The food was excellent.More infoSimonstone HallPrice: Expensive• British• Hawes•4.2
