Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Chef and Owner Peter Platt, along with his team, work to create innovative and memorable meals that are an event unto themselves. Currently, we are offering a $85 prix fixe menu with 5-6 choices per course every night we are open. The hours for dinner are Wednesday through Sunday 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm for both indoors and in an all new screened outdoor room. The wine list is graced with an array of thoughtfully selected estate bottled wines from France, California, Italy and around the world. Everything was absolutely excellent. And had an exsquisit bottle of wine on discounted wine Mondays which I was not aware of. I would recommend this for a very very nice dinner out for anyone.

Another great meal at Millwright's. My husband and I celebrated both of our birthdays here on a Friday night on the bridge. Our table was ideal, overlooking the waterfall. They have done an amazing job enclosing the bridge and making it warm and cozy and not jamming too many tables in there. Service was perfect throughout. We were wared that entrees were taking an hour, but our meal was very well paced. We started with shrimp cocktail and a cocktail. We had wine with dinner, which was duck breast for my husband and Lamb shepherds pie for me. Both were excellent. Dessert was a banana sticky toffee pudding, which was very good - but not quite as good as Gordon Ramsey's :) Millwright's offers plenty of vegan options and, for the service and ambiance you get, I think the food is priced very well. Except one steak, everything was under $40.
