China Garden has been serving Chinese, Cantonese and Dim Sum cuisine for the past 30 years. You will receive a warm welcome at our restaurant, conveniently situated on the corner of Preston Street with a great view of the sea.     We went to the China Garden for our children's birthday. We cannot fault them on any part of their service - the personal service and the food were both second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for the numerous staff on shift during the evening. Service was very attentive. The food was well cooked and we loved it all. As it was my children's birthdays they were presented with a chocolate sundae with a candle. If you've got room, try the chocolate icecream - it was to die for! We have been to The China Garden previously and will return again without a doubt.

    Duncan and his outstanding team are everything I love about casual fine dining! Exquisite food, prepared by a master, and served in a stylish and unpretentious way. 11/10 Their lead server was sunshine and sophistication. Knowledgeable and welcoming in every way. Faultless from start to finish, and the perfect January birthday treat!

    We were the only table in there and we had an excellent time! The 4 staff working were absolutely brilliant and made our night amazing. We turned off the Christmas tunes and had our own playlist. We just had a really lovely time. My seared Tuna was fantastic.
