- DDanAtlanta Metro •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEverything about this place is spot-on! We were in town staying at Hotel Bardo to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and chose it over two other suggestions from our bartender, Jamar. Our cocktails were beautifully crafted; you have to try a classic margarita and a Last Word. We chose the puréed cauliflower soup and chicken liver mousse on spiced pumpkin bread for our starters. They were both rich and comforting without being heavy. Our main courses were a New York strip, the day’s special, and the pork belly. The steak was cooked perfectly and complimented with a delicious chimichurri drizzle which was not overpowering like many of them can be. The generous portion of pork was paired with a beautiful demi-glacé and an apple butter highlighting the natural sweet and salt of the belly. Dessert was a simple house made ice cream with shortbread crumbles which tasted like a Christmas memory. The price point is at the higher end, but well worth it. You are paying for quality ingredients prepared by talented people served by exceptional staff.More infoLocal 11ten Food & WinePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Historic District - South•4.8
- JJulieVIPHouston •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWell - I goofed ! I was considering several restaurants in Savannah because I eat gluten free . Let’s be honest - there is a lot of gluten in traditional Southern cooking. I booked the wrong date for our reservation! When I looked at their menu I realized there would be some GF options ! The hostess graciously accommodated my husband and I and we were able to get a table . I had a delicious meal that was gluten free ! I had the special - sea bass with risotto! Delightful ! I am grateful for their understanding during this holiday season .More infoVic's on the RiverPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Historic District - North•4.7

My wife and I have made this our annual Christmas tradition, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. We indulged in the seven-course menu and highly recommend the wine pairing—it’s a splurge, but well worth it. The thoughtful pairing elevated each dish to new heights, showcasing the chef’s and sommelier’s expertise. A special shoutout to our server, Kim, who made the evening truly unforgettable. Kim was not only incredibly personable but he also took the time to explain each course in detail, highlighting how the flavors complemented the paired wines. His attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm went above and beyond, making us feel like VIPs throughout the evening. While the meal is on the pricier side, the quality and creativity of the dishes make it worth every penny. This restaurant is a gem in Savannah, offering both a romantic atmosphere and exceptional cuisine. Elizabeth on 37th is an experience we cherish every year, and we can’t wait to return.More infoElizabeth on 37thPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Thomas Square•4.9
- KKarenVIPDallas - Fort Worth •42 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024What a wonderful Christmas inspired breakfast. The already spectacular views of the river was enhanced by the creative holiday decorations. The oven bread was delicious and the best accompaniment to the Shakshuka (which was some of the best I’ve had!)More infoBar JulianPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Historic District - North•4.7
