Our name, inspired by the year the building was built, pays homage to its history as the first electric generation station in Norwalk, then a hat factory, and later a home to beloved restaurants. 1920 Bar and Bistro is a tribute to the past, presenting a fresh concept with classic cocktails, craft beer, and a diverse, seasonal menu inspired by contemporary American cuisine.Prepared by a Mexican-born maestro, who enriched his culinary journey with a passion ignited by the finesse of Italian cuisine.     Overall we enjoyed and appreciated the music , the creativity of the artwork and seating arrangements . It is definitely a place to consider going for a date night. The servers and owners were extremely welcoming and eager to assist, even with the bottle of wine to consider. The food is average for bar food .

    new holidays menu is a dramatic elevation. The chocolate cake feels like a warm embrace, and perfect finish after the steak with Brussels sprouts. The new bartender deserves a standing ovation – their Old Fashioneds are a solid 10/10.

    The small plates were great to share or to have as individual apps. The sides were great, especially the Brussels sprout! Very flavorful and plated nicely. The coconut flan was delicious and we will definitely be back to order the other items we didn’t get to this time!

    If you haven’t visited BANC House in a while, get back there. They have made some slight changes to the menu but have stayed true to their brand. The bao buns are killer and the raw bar is always fresh and delicious. Their service is friendly and attentive due to the leadership of Line. Swing by and say “hi” to Line.

    Finally made it down to Taco Guy. Food and drinks were excellent and our server Javier was awesome. Will be back for sure.
