If you’re looking for an aesthetic atmosphere with great food/drink presentations, chemistry would be the place.More infoChemistryPrice: Expensive• American• Hyde Park•4.5

The front room is spacious and noise level is very low..we were able to hear the lovely soft music and enjoy the ambience. The food was delicious. The fried Red Snapper the best I've had...the ceasar salad unusual and yummy. The waiter spoke perfect English and knew about good Mexican food. Of course the Flan was delicious and enough for 2 people. We had a lovely evening. EXCEPT we got a $250 ticket for parking in a wheelchair only..even though we had a handicapped plaque. Suggestion..put on your web site that you have Valet parking..we missed that. It would have been much cheaper than the ticket.More infoMariscos San PedroPrice: Very Expensive• Mexican• Pilsen•4.8
- TTerriChicago / Illinois •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoTook hubby here for his birthday. This was our second time visiting. The food was just as we remembered, if not even better! We started off with the gumbo, which was hearty in itself. My husband had the Short ribs, which were tender and flavorful. I had the blackened catfish, which was flaky, seasoned well, and melted in my mouth. We also ordered as sides: collard greens, mac n cheese, and cornbread. OMG, I could've lived off the cornbread alone! Greens were cooked to perfection, and mac n cheese was creamy but not overly cheesy. Needless to say, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, and we had a lot of leftovers. The service was top-notch, and it was a great experience overall. It is a small space, so be prepared to maybe sit a little close to other patrons. It was cool for us, great conversation. We will definitely be back, try something else, and remember those sides are enough to 2👍🏾More infoVirtuePrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Hyde Park•4.9
- EEmilySan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWhat a delight! Our party of 4 came to HaiSous on a snowy evening while we were in town for work and wanting to explore Chicago beyond the downtown core. We got a wonderful meal in an interesting location. We ordered the set menu—two of the vegetarian option and two of the regular—and that was absolutely the way to go, as it got us tastes of nearly everything on the menu and saved us from having to choose. The dishes were incredibly creative and truly delicious. Hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, it'd be a showdown between the eggplant and the veggie curry.More infoHaiSous Vietnamese KitchenPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Pilsen•4.7
