The staff was outstanding From Chris our bar server to Kendra our restaurant server and chef Gino nailed it with flavors and presentation of each dish First time in and we will definitely be back. Lovely evening.

This was our 4th time here and it was an amazing meal, as always! The highlights were the crispy crab tacos, the lobster roll, the warm spinach salad, and the clam chowder. Despite how full we were, we had to get the banana bread pudding and it was spectacular! McKenzie provided excellent service. We come from the East Bay to celebrate special occasions here and it is always worth the 1.5 hour drive!!

Brunch was devine! Eggs Benedict with extra hollandaise and chicken and waffles are second to none. Beautiful and comfortable patio. Service was outstanding! Will absolutely be back to try more drinks and dishes.

We love going to the Matheson! The food is always imaginative and delicious. It ain't cheap, but I think you get what you pay for. We had a prix fixe menu and the portions were generous and there were more courses than we would have expected. We went home stuffed and satisfied! Our server Zadie was the best - very personable, knowledgable and attentive.

We were greeted warmly at the door for our 5pm reservation and allowed to select out table. We sat at the booth on the left - very cozy. We had the foie gras and scallops appetizers- both were wonderful. For dinner my husband had the special beef bourguignon which was flavorful and tender. I had the special lobster pasta which could have had more lobster but what I had was very good. We will be returning!
