The Three Cranes is a beautiful Grade II listed building with classic features in the centre of the charming village of Turvey.Nestled in the rolling countryside between Bedford, Milton Keynes and Northampton, Turvey is a beautiful, historical village on the river Ouse at the centre of a network of country paths. It has many historical stone buildings and is centred around the ancient manor, Turvey House. We serve food freshly prepared from high quality ingredients with a focus on local sourcing. The Embankment Hotel was built in 1891 and we renovated it to reflect its late-Victorian heyday, but with all the modern comforts and facilities of a great pub.     Celebrating a birthday today with 2 friends at Bills at Rushden Lakes. The food was great, service was excellent and although the restaurant was busy, we weren’t kept waiting. Couldn’t fault a thing. Then 2 staff came with the desserts and sang happy birthday, such a lovely touch! Very impressed and one of our party is coeliac and the staff were very attentive to her dietary needs. Really good experience!

    The food was amazing for starters we had calamari and the beef tacos honest so tender and fresh for mains we had the lamb chops and the chicken burger both cooked amazingly 10/10

    We have been to the pub before for drinks . As it was my other half’s birthday treat I took him for dinner . It was fabulous from start to finish . The food was brilliant & staff excellent. Thank you

    We did not want a heavy meal and we enjoyed our choices very much. The'dessert/cheese + coffee smidgeon' is a very good offering. Thank you also for ringing me about the jacket I'd left - I hadn't noticed the lapse - and was happy to pick it up, I think it was Mandy who retrieved it so thanks to her too. See you soon.
