great food - loved the seasonal irish stout beef stew - better than i could have imagined YUM! Great drinks tonight also. Enjoyed our server and appreciate your attention to my seating request - super helpful in making our date night a success due to the need for a quieter space somce my husband is hard of hearing. Longtime fans and will be back soon to try out the italian menu in April 🥰

Table was ready for reservation, Diedra our waitress was AMAZING! Dinner was delicious. Ordered the 1920 tips and warm olives to start with a glass of Silk and Spice red Portuguese wine. Always a great meal when we come here. Would highly recommend this place.

This was our second trip to The Mercantile. We went back specifically for the nachos. So delicious and a large portion! Great service as well.

We have been here many times. The eggplant app was very good. I had the haddock and my wife the salmon. Salmon was overcooked and the risotto was salty. My wife had this dish a couple of weeks ago and loved it. My haddock was just ok. Nothing special. Our server offered to provide my wife a new dish which we said no, but did provide a free desert to make it up. Concerned that the staff has had what appears to be a complete turnover since the new owners took over a year or so ago. Hopefully they didn’t let there cooking staff go. Surprised on a Thursday night it was pretty quiet except the bar area.

Did not get correct steaktips .. baked potatoe came out with meal..ordered risotto.. and potato skins extra crispy.. or over done.. waitress asked if she could fix it but was to late into meal.
