- MMikeNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoImagine being seated in a dinning room with only 8 tables, mid 19th century country inn, three piece acoustic jazz playing in the background. It’s a Sunday late morning Jazzy Brunch. Excellent, professional service. Eclectic brunch menu, creative Prosecco based fluted cocktail. Whether you were an Inn guest or just stopping by for Jazzy Brunch (as we did) the ambience sets the tone for the entire day. A Sunday Jazzy Brunch at Old Lyme Inn is magical.More infoOld Lyme InnPrice: Expensive• American• Old Lyme•4.6
- SSheilaVIPNew York City •39 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAfter several wonderful visits, we brought friends to enjoy La Marea with us tonight, and, as always, they did not disappoint. The food (sea bass and fettuccine with shrimp specials for all of us) were outstanding! Equalled by the always attentive, personable and knowledgable server who makes us feel so at home and taken care of, Karen. All of the staff was right there to take care of everything at just the right time. Nino's visit to the table later in the evening to check on our experience capped off a truly special night. Thank you to everyone at La Marea for another great evening, cementing why this restaurant is our go-to for a special evening out. :)More infoLa MareaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Old Saybrook•4.8

The service was excellent, as was the food. Everything was served at just the right pace. I highly recommend Aspen.More infoAspen RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Old Saybrook•4.7
- BBobVIPNew York City •39 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe dining experience we enjoyed at The Essex will undoubtedly be one of our favorite meals of the year. We reserved a spot at the Chef's counter which overlooks all the action happening in the kitchen. Watching how well the culinary crew was orchestrated was a real treat. We opted for the Chefs Tasting Menu, and it was a great decision. Highlights were the lobster bisque. the Hiramasu Cru, lobster quenelles (a real treat), crispy octopus, Jurgielewicz duck, and the Wagyu. Shout out to the chef and his team, and to our server who helped us pair our meal with some enjoyable wines. The Essex has a cool vibe, and they strive to make everyone feel welcome. Highly recommended!More infoThe EssexPrice: Expensive• American• Old Saybrook•4.8
