- TTiffanyChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was me and my daughter’s first time dining at the Walnut Room. The giant Christmas tree is the first thing you see when you walk into the restaurant, it was stunning. Our server was amazing, he kept an eye or our table, I can say my water glass was never empty. I had the chicken pot pie and my daughter had the Walnut Room burger. Everything tasted very good. Our server Lex also made some dessert recommendations and it didn’t disappoint.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6

We tucked into Bar Mar and it was an oasis of warmth on a cold day. We were greeted like old friends and made very comfortable. We ordered West Coast oysters, Neptune's Pillows, and Sloppy Jose - it was the perfect lunch to satisfy our seafood and spice cravings. For dessert, there is sticky toffee pudding and the stellar Key Pie. I'll be dreaming of that Key Pie for a long time. Our server was an absolute delight. She was efficient, professional, and fun! Jenn was a joy and made us feel like VIPs. We will be back for more fantastic food and fun.More infoBar MarPrice: Expensive• Spanish• River North (Chicago)•4.6
- JJanetChicago / Illinois •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe dined with family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner at Roanoke. We could not have been happier. The set menu still allowed diners to individually select drinks, appetizers, sides, the main dish (turkey and trimmings, salmon, steak), and dessert. Everything was delicious and well-seasoned. The wait staff was attentive. It was a packed house (because who cooks anymore?). We even ordered an extra plate to go (because leftovers are a must!). If Roanoke offers Thanksgiving dinner again, we will book it again!More infoRoanokePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Loop•4.3
- MManahilToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI came here for my husband’s birthday dinner. The food was phenomenal - we got steak, the whipped potatoes and the decadent Mac and cheese. For starters we got soup, my husband loved the clam chowder however the French onion soup I got was a bit too sweet for my liking. One thing I will say is the soup could have been hotter, it was lukewarm. Otherwise the rest of the food was perfect. Steak was cooked to perfection. The ambience was wonderful and very romantic. The service was a complete 10/10. We really enjoyed it. It is a very expensive restaurant but I do feel like you get what you pay for.More infoPrime & Provisions SteakhousePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.7
