Il Palagio is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm. Outdoor service is available only during summer time, weather permitting. The Palazzo Della Gherardesca was unusual for its time in that its main interior space, the atrium, was originally designed as a secondary courtyard. Now covered with a glass roof, like the courtyard Lobby, the Hotel’s Atrium Bar occupies a vast sun-lit and decorative space, serving lunch, dinner, and the typical Italian aperitif, afternoon tea, desserts, coffee and cocktails. It offers a selection of delicious and out-of-the ordinary drinks, from the Valentino, our take on the classic Negroni, to the latest cocktails and preparations on the list. Bar & wine selection as well as recommendations outstanding! Food excellent. Crown Royal would expand a nice selection. One complaint I was embarrassed at check out my AMEX was refused! A year ago at my last visit to Florence no issues but had to have a customer pay unacceptable! That will prevent future return without change. Otherwise very satisfied customer! Ken B.
