Depuis son ouverture en 1974, les steaks de premier choix et les martinis ne sont jamais passés de mode dans cet établissement de Palo Alto. L'ambiance est très cosy avec cheminées, bois sombre, souvenirs sportifs accrochés au mur et cabines avec banquettes en cuir moelleux qui habitent les nombreux recoins de la salle à manger. Célèbre pour leur "ribs" cuits lentement et le steak de première qualité USDA coupé à la main, le restaurant offre également des fruits de mer frais, queue de homard fraiche et crustacés succulents. L'entrecote (avec son os) de 650 grammes est La spécialité du chef tandis que le "Double Cut Filet Mignon" occupe, de près, la seconde place. Sundance est respecté pour proposer le meilleur rapport qualité-prix avec une nourriture simple et qualitative - une offre appréciée par les gastronomes et les "aficionados" de steaks. Le menu est accompagné par une carte des vins primée qui propose plus de 400 sélections qui se concentre principalement sur les grands vins locaux : Napa Valley Cabernets & Sonoma Pinot Noir.
