Bar George is located in a historic building in downtown Montreal. The food, service and ambiance were impeccable. We went for brunch and were excited to taste several of the French inspired offerings that were available to us. I had a delicious French lobster omelette, potatoes and frogs legs on the side. My wife had a breakfast pastry platter with a scrambled egg on the side. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were totally satisfied with our meal which was wonderful. I highly recommend Bar George.

I enjoyed my time with family and great service. Our table was already ready with two kids menu and Valentines menu. The waiting time between each portion was planned properly. The quality of the food was so great. Thanks!

Best Steakhouse in the city ...as far as your money’s worth. My rib steak was well-marbled, tender, perfectly cooked and spiced. Twice bake potatoes are delicious The service is great. You will not be disappointed. Our waitress Marie was wonderful and Luca, the young man that seated us was gracious and welcoming.

The restaurant was consistent as always. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Sautéed scallops in Thai curry an roasted red pepper sauce was good as was the seared tuna. My leek soup was great as was the bavette as well as the Jack Daniels blackened burger.

We had a great time at the Flamenco night. They had two shows & the dancer, singer & guitar player were great. The terrace was enclosed, insulated & heated so we were very comfortable. The drinks were great & the service was very polite & friendly. Now the food was the cherry on the cake. Everything we had was very good. The anchovies, cheese platter, huge salad, fried calamari, tomato bread, chicken with potatoes bravas & the grilled & oil & garlic shrimps were yummy ! The host/chef couldn’t do more to make us feel welcome & enjoy the whole experience ! We will return for the next flamenco night💃🏿
