At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. My first visit to The Hive. Lovely greeting by the guy behind the bar. The upstairs restaurant area was lovely and quiet. The meal was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The beef was tender and vegetables cooked to perfection. I had dessert, although could only just manage it after the main meal. The servers couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. Absolute bargain, soft drink, Sunday roast, Berry Sundae and coffee for £34. Highly recommend The Hive.

Due to graduation at the University everywhere was fully booked. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us( party of 5 with 2 having mobility issues). Food was good value for money and was prompt. Would visit again
