Restaurants near Petrarca Park

Hubby and I went to Maple Tree Inn and they did not disappoint. The customer service by ALL of the staff was amazing. Our server was Joseph and let me say, he was so attentive, professional, spoke clearly when offering his recommendations for food, and appeared to be jovial at work. We ordered the Jambalaya, the Fire Roasted Brussel Sprouts and the Burnt Ends. The chef had a good night because everything was seasoned well, not too salty, not too spicy, just full of flavor and very savory. The portions were plentiful. As a matter of fact, when I ate some of the b. sprouts, I started to get full. Maple T. I. was not stingy with their portions at all. The prices are very reasonable. The bathrooms were clean and they have HOT WATER TO WASH YOUR HANDS!!! (I do not like going to a restaurant and the bathrooms have cold water..like…what germs are you possibly washing away?!!) Maple T. I will surely see us again!

The restaurant is stunning, and the atmosphere is truly lovely. While the food was decent, I believe the service could use some improvement. We had to ask our waitress multiple times for assistance and even had to get up to catch her attention. We came to celebrate a birthday and while the hostess mentioned it upon arrival, I had to request something from the waitress. The lamb chops were amazing and I highly recommend.

I think we’ve been going to White Castle for Valentine’s Day for 15 years, except for COVID. We always have a great time

I took my daughter out for Valentine’s Day and we were not disappointed. We started off with the salmon bites, they were dry but they came with a sweet sauce that made them tolerable. For my entree I had the short ribs over mashed potatoes with a side of collard greens. The short ribs were flavorful and tender, the collards did not disappoint either. They were doing karaoke by 8pm so things got a little loud but it was still a good time.

My family and I had a delightful Valentine’s Day dinner at White Castle. The warm ambiance and exceptional service made the evening special. The manager’s thoughtful gesture of gifting chocolate candy roses added a festive touch. We look forward to returning.
