Restaurants near Pierce County Park

Came to celebrate my birthday - since it was so cold, got a reservation same day at requested time (unusual). Food quality and drinks were excellent. I find their drinks a bit expensive, but food quality and value kind of makes up for it. Service was excellent - appreciated Heath very much.

Buffalo chicken pizza and calamari were fabulous! Had the pizza “well done” for crispy crust and got a side of hot sauce. They were very busy but the staff had it together….service was great.

Got a table within 10 minutes of our Open Table reservation time, which was pretty good since it was busy and walk-ins had waits of 30-45 minutes on Friday night. The service was good and so was the food. My prime rib steak (weekend special) was good but was seasoned with too much pepper for my taste. I was told by the server when I asked about pepper & seasoning that it was cooked with a pepper seasoning on the outside of the meat when cooked. But the pepper seasoning also was on the center of my steak as well - more than I like. If you like pepper, no problem but I will avoid or ding the prime rib next time and stick with the Tri-tip if I want steak.

We had a fabulous time at Flemings! Chandler went beyond serving. He hosted us with short conversations and laughter. Our cocktails, appetizers, dinner and wine was all brought out in a time honored relaxing fashion. Just a wonderful way to celebrate my husbands 40 year, Air Force career, start to retirement.
