Water Wheel Tavern is an historic Bucks County landmark originally built in 1714 by John Dyer, an English Quaker. It existed for centuries as a water wheel driven grist mill, and later hosted both a post office and a general store.     Overall experience was good. Waiter seemed inexperienced but friendly. Everyone enjoyed their dinners except one, but it was his fault for ordering an everyday steak at a restaurant known for exotic game and Italian specialties. They did try to fix it, and took it off the bill, so it was an overall good experience.

    Our first time here on the recommendation of a friend. We loved it and will go back, and take friends with us. Beautiful location, easy parking, and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Great menu (caters to vegans and vegetarians). Like how it's connected to the nursery which in itself was amazing.

    The food is always excellent, with innovative twists. The service was great, the staff is always pleasant, and you're never rushed. Brunch today, but lunch, dinner, or just drinks, a trip to The Water Wheel is NEVER a disappointment!

    The food was delicious. My husband said he had the best lamp chops ever. The live music was fantastic but loud for such a small venue. We seem to annoy our waitress and had to ask for attention quite a few times. Not sure if they are understaffed. But ambience and food were terrific. Also recommend the meatballs, crabcakes and fish tacos.

    As always, we absolutely loved our time and meal !!! Our waiter Kurt is the greatest !!! Always with a hysterical story from his past, and great suggestions for what to have for dinner !!!
