In a city saturated with restaurants it sometimes strikes one as strange that there are relatively few purely vegetarian or vegan restaurants in Hong Kong. Ahimsa Buffet is one of these rare gems, whose premises on the ground floor of the Wah Hai Mansion along North Point’s Fort Street is therefore a hotspot for non-meat-eaters looking for affordable, quality vegetarian cuisine. It’s also something of a unique concept in that the restaurant only offers two menus!

I would recommend the show Kitchen to a friend. Everything was excellent... the ambience, view, food all 5 star. We went with the understanding that the cost, as per open table was between £26 - £40 per person, which we were happy to pay. We were shocked at the end, because of Labour Day, 1st May, that the cost was 690 CNY each. (around £75 pp.) The restaurant was half empty and they started cleaning up at 9.30, we wee the last to leave at 9.45 pm. As you can imagine this spoiled the night somewhat, this should have been explained at the start. It seemed a ploy to get the maximum from unexpected foreigners.

it seems that the staff check the online booking record when we arrived and just found any empty table for us. During the booking or getting the table, the staff did not mention that we have time limit. But, they ask us to return the table when we just ordered one for dish...
