Restaurants near PNC Field

We booked Catch 21 for our Valentine’s dinner. Overall it was a cool spot little things that I noticed made it less than 5 stars. I had the risotto & although the flavor was good it had hard rice in it. The environment was ok but the music was almost club style but it was Valentines Day. So again just little things we noticed. I mean for Scranton PA it was good.

Everything was perfect. The setting, the staff and the food was fantastic. The veal was so tender and the portions were big. Of course took the leftovers home. The Straciatella soup was delicious as was the shrimp cocktail. We had cheesecake for dessert which was fantastic. We shared it and couldn’t finish it. The piano player adds a nice touch.

We have been coming to Angelo’s since they opened years ago and have never experienced a bad meal. I highly recommend the home made pasta when ordering.

So much fun! That atmosphere is enjoyable! Prices are unbeatable!

Walked in and place looked great. Only 4-5 tables of ppl eating , that got us nervous. But we were soon blown away. Apps were great , drinks were perfect (Cosmo and pear martini ) the expresso martinis were really good as well. Dinners were spot on - stuffed eggplant and filet Desserts were a great ending. Really hope old forgians give this place a fair shake. New monthly menu provides a really nice change for new experiences
