Restaurants near Point Sur Lighthouse

With how busy and crazy things are in life, it is awesome to find a place that slows everything down. Almost like a calm comes over you while sitting on the patio looking out over the pacific. We will be back. The food was amazing, service incredible, and some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a while. Make the trip. It will not disappoint.

The view is incredible. The service was outstanding. The food was hit and miss. The clam chowder was good but a tad salty. The Cesar salad is always good. The halibut was dry, very overcooked. The risotto it was sitting on though was very good. I yearn for the Pacific’s Edge of 8-10 years ago when every aspect of a dinner was an over-the-top experience. I’d recommend going there for lunch. Same view, and you can see it throughout the meal. Same great service. And the prime rib sandwich is really good. I’d love to see Pacific’s Edge bring in some top chef talent to get creative with the menu. Or maybe they already have the talent and they just need to be turned loose to create some great dishes.

So good, went here twice in one week. Simply outstanding food and service. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem of an Italian restaurant. 

Excellent appetizers ~ lettuce cups and egg rolls. Nice wine list, and Chicken Parmesan & Thai Curry entrees were good. Server was top-notch! Definitely will go back when in Carmel again.
