The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. 'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. The food and service are exactly what you’d expect from a good Gastro pub, however, it doesn’t do much beyond that. You’d get just as good a meal at a Gastro pub nearby, but here, you’re paying at least £20 more per person for a roast that has a Michelin Star. The experience doesn’t quite justify the inflated price.

Great seafood restaurant that really knows how to prepare shellfish. Service was excellent and only slightly marred by a side disk being forgotten but when pointed out was rapidly rectified and removed from the bill. Thanks for a great meal.

Enjoyed our dinner. Attentive service. Great gourmet pizza ( Southern Italy) and fresh salad (goat cheese/pear, rocket/balsamic vinegar and walnut). Although we miss the personalized attention we received from Marco, the original owner/manager and servers of the former owners 😕.
