Zach my server was delightful! Food was marvellous.

So glad we found this place on our last night . Food was outstanding and staff were really good. Mushroom sharer starter was amazing . Had the rump steak that was cooked perfectly and peppercorn sauce which was a great taste and consistency. Wish I could have managed a dessert but I was too full ! Definitely recommend this restaurant . Also good prices .

We visit York every year for my friend’s Birthday. We always choose somewhere different to dine. We will definitely return to Cut and Craft. We had a fabulous experience. We arrived 2 hours earlier than our booking as we were all shopped out and hungry! We were happy to have a drink and wait for our table. But Evie very kindly managed to find us a table straightaway. We had a fantastic table and were very relieved to settle ourselves in and get comfortable. The ambience was so warm and cosy. I felt happy straightaway. We both chose the signature steak and shared 3 side plates. It was absolutely divine. We couldn’t eat it quickly enough, it was so good. The dessert of peach mousse with sorbet and pieces of honeycomb was also to die for. I can honestly say I haven’t had food as good as this in a long time. Thank you Evie for looking after us and helping us have such a wonderful time!

What a splendid venue, with its views of the Minster & Music room heritage! The staff were helpful, polite & knowledgable & the food was local, seasonal, presented beautifully & tasted great too 😊. We look forward to joining you again soon 👍
