Restaurants near Railroad Park

I’ve been enjoying Stark restaurants for a long time. After dinner last night, I’m convinced these people can do no wrong. We thoroughly enjoyed a perfectly paced, non-rushed, luxurious, decadent, near perfect dinner here. For a special occasion in the Santa Rosa area, this is the place! Don’t miss: excellent cocktails, wedge & Caesar salads, prime filet mignon (perfectly cooked), “queen” prime rib, heavenly mashed potatoes and “candied” bacon. The complimentary house baked bread served warm on a pool of garlic butter is insanely great. Service was superb-our waiter was a doppelgänger for Jason Kelce! Thank you Stark family for providing our family with many memorable meals.

Grossman’s never disappoints. Food is amazing, wait staff was professional and helpful. Ate outside for the first time. Was a gorgeous February day and it was perfect. Not too noisy, comfortable seating, a great way to enjoy lunch (or dinner). Can’t wait to go back.

I have a limited income but it was my 75th birthday, so I thought I would splurge. I wasn't sure where I wan going to dine, so I checked out different menus from a number of restaurants. THERE IT WAS: Veal Cordon Bleu. Haven't had this in YEARS. When I arrived, I was promptly seated and Aimee, my waitress came right over. The entire staff were very accommodating. The meal came with soup, a TASTY chicken orzo, followed by a nice bibb lettuce salad. The veal was AMAZING; the side of vegetables was really good and the roasted potatoes were GREAT! Finally, as it was my birthday, they treated me with a nice chocolate mousse. Everything was perfect. I will certainly return.

The food is fantastic, and the coffee is phenomenal! Everyone who works there is friendly and very welcoming. Great decor and relaxing vibe. I'm a bit of a coffee snob; most coffee companies buy cheap beans and over roast them to cover up that fact or simply don't know how to properly roast coffee and what you end up with is something you'd expect to get from Starbucks. Happily, that is not what you get here. The coffee is smooth, not bitter, with rich hints of caramel and a smooth nutty finish. What a cup of coffee! And the food? Don't get me started! You literally can't go wrong with any of the culinary offerings! We were so impressed with this little restaurant that we ate there two days in a row. This place is a real gem, so make a reservation to insure you get to enjoy this place.

Food was good, waiter was prompt and friendly. Perfect combination!
