- AAndrewIdaho •4 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoOur family has been dining at the Narrows for over 13 years. It's our go to place for nice occasions. We went recently and our waiter Matthew was exceptional, attentive and polite. All of the wait staff was great. My concern is with the food itself. My husband and I both had the Caesar salad. This is the second visit where I recall thinking "no way is this Caesar salad". The dressing is certainly more like a blue cheese and the lettuce wasn't romaine, but soft field lettuce. I don't understand - so simple of a dressing/salad to make. Both my husband and daughter had the French onion soup and said it was lackluster - again so simple to add some depth (very little bread or cheese). I had the surf and turf with "prawns". Seriously? There were two small shrimp (you know the 51-60 size). I almost laughed. However, the steak was perfect. A small smear of mashed potatoes (no texture at all) and a few small carrots and the asparagus was cut into 3rds, why? My father-in-laws salmon was rather small and dry (come on we have the best salmon in ID), served with black-eyed peas (really, that's a totally Southern item and out of place for the mountains of ID). The tuna tartar, while delicious by itself, came with nothing to put it on (bread/chips). We love the Narrows and will continue to go, but PLEASE for the price and being the nicest restaurant in town, they really need to step up their food game. It honestly wouldn't take much.More infoThe Narrows SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Regional American (Northwest)• McCall•4.7
- EElizabethIdaho •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOur little family travels from all corners of the United States to be together at Christmastime. And now, for the second year, we have driven to McCall to spend some time in the snow. Also for the second year we have gathered around a table at Rupert’s. We have enjoyed Rupert’s staff, service, food, and ambience. Thank you, Rupert’s, for adding to our Christmas joy.More infoRupert's at Hotel McCallPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Northwest)• McCall•4.7

- AAnnieIdaho •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024The view was breathtaking. We basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Our waitress, Bellen, did an AMAZING job. She was so kind and helpful. She also brought out a little cupcake and lit a candle for my husband who was celebrating his birthday. The food was soooo good! I could eat those fries and tatertots every day. 5 stars ⭐️More infoThe Cutwater on Payette LakePrice: Moderate• American• McCall•4.3
